The PTH-28B continuously displays the current CO concentration in ppm and provides clear visual warnings when readings reach configured alert levels.

Unit works reliable and is easy to read. Connection via App is smooth and leaves no questions. I'd wish that there where more customizable warning limits for CO&CO2 like a "silent alert" for increased levels and the posibility to stop an alert-sound when noticed (at least for non-critical levels)
Unit is also a bit heavy but therefore it seems rugged. Battery drains quickly (lasts appx. 2 days) so have a powerbank handy when you travel.

I’m a big outdoor‑travel enthusiast. I backed this device on Kickstarter back in 2024 and have been using it ever since.
This monitor literally saved my life! Once I felt drowsy after driving and decided to sleep inside my RV. I was half‑asleep when both the unit itself and my phone went off with loud urgent alarms. I immediately realized I was facing carbon‑monoxide poisoning risk. I snapped awake, opened all windows and doors, and got outside right away.
We later found the generator exhaust pipe was broken and detached, letting toxic fumes flood into the RV cabin. Without this device’s timely alert, the outcome could have been fatal.
